RATES OF EXCHANGE. Received December 8, 10.10 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 7. Tlie price of gold is now £7 2s Id per fine ounce. The dollar rate of exchange (LondonNew York) is now 4.89 J and the franc rate (London-Paris) is 100 .S-16.
