FINAL WOODVILLE TRIALS. SMART GALLOPS AT AWAPUNI. MARTARA AND~CORIIOBOREE. (By "Moturoa.") Under perfect track conditions the Awapuni horses executed their final trials for the Woodville Jockey Club s spring meeting on Thursday. Martara (Tattersall) pleased his connections in beating Ingenuity (Mansfield) over a mile in the smart time of 1 48. Despite the fact that both galloped without shoes the trial was very satisfactory and Ingenuity showed her solidness by hanging to her companion until well into the straight, Vonia Park (Chaplin) finished clear of Party (Tattersall) over five furlongs run in 1.6}.
