"There is some probability'of the Palmerston North Technical School being put under the care of a paid director, as tho present arrangement lays too much work upon the rector of tho High School, stated a paragraph. It was claimed that the Bill would create ton new shipping lines. At Perth tile Australian professional runner Postlo had beaten tho Irish champion, B. It. Day, in 75. yards and 300 yards races. Tho United States Federal Government had commenced an action in San Francisco to tost whether the Stato law could exclude Japanese children from the usual schools.
