POSITION AT CANBERRA. Received December 7, 8.5 a.m. CANBERRA, Dee. G. The Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) remained at Canberra for the week-end, but there are no further developments. Mr Lyons anticipates hearing from London to-morrow alter the meeting ol the British Cabinet. No official reason is given foi the special meeting of Parliament on Wednesday, hut the reason is generally understood. PRAYERS IN CHURCHES. A Svdncy message says many references were" made in the churches to the Royal crisis. Special prayers were offered for the King and his .Ministers.
