MILK MARKETING.
PROTEST SETTLED. Per Press Association. A UCKLAN D, Dec. 5. A milk van on which was being painted the sign, “W. J. Lyon, M.I ~ Milk Vendor Under Protest, will not be used oil Monday. The grievance has been removed. Mr Lyon said to-day he had l>een met very fairly by the Milk Council, which had agreed that the Auckland company sell" its rights to vendors on the North Shore, thus protecting the interests oi local farmers.
