DOCK FOR HAWAII.

CONSTRUCTION PLANS. WASHINGTON, Nov. 26. The Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation, New York, with six alternate proposals ranging from 16,604,000 dollars to 21,312,000 dollars, wa.s the sole bidder for the Navy’s new floating dry dock- at Pearl Harbour, Hawaiian Islands. It will be the world’s largest dock of its kind, being 1016 feet long and of 45,000 tons. Mr C. A. Swanson (Secretary of the Navy) said that the bids were high and the Navy would consider building the dock in its own yards on the Pacific Coast.
