Behind a barricade of cobblestones, students. of the Warsaw University, who have conducted a stay-in strike as an anti-Semitic demonstration, defied the time limit set by the ultimatum demanding their surrender under threat of expulsion. Firemen then drenched them with icy water, forcing theni to surrender. The trouble has now extended to the Cracow and Poznan Universities
