RURAL RAKINGS. The manager of the Bay of Islands Cooperative Dairy Company reports that tho company’s output of butter for October was a record one for that month, being 150 tons, an increase of 23.9 per cent over, that of October. 1935. At the Stratford Show, tho Cheltenham Dairy Company secured tho reserve championship for Berkshire sous and tho championship for Tamworth sow. Mr H. E. Ficldbousc (Uongotca) secured the Tamworth reserve chumpionship. Both exhibitors secured a large number of class awards. Air C. M. Whiteloek (Newbury) was a prominent prize-winner with Large Blacks. In spite of broken weather and labour difficulties, the limit of 20,000 bales for tho first wool sale of the 1936-37 season, to be held in Auckland to-morrow, is expected to -be exceeded by about 2822 bales. Wool has been arriving at the stores in largo quantities. In the stores there has been feverish activity and all hands have been busily occupied until late each night.
