PIGS AND POULTRY.
The Dominion Auctioneering Company reports an extra large yarding of all classes of pigs at the weekly pig fair yesterday, excellent prices being realised. There was a large and keen attendance of buyers. RealisationsSmall weanors, 13a to 15s; best weanors, up to 18s; slips, 18s to 20s; stores, to 265; porkers, to 375; sows with litters, £5 ICs and £6 12s 6d. There was a particularly heavy yarding of poultry, all grades selling well at an advance on last week. Realisations per pair wore:—White hens, 5s 6d to 7e; black liens, 6s 6d to 8s 6d; white roostors, 3s 6d to 6s; black cockerels, email, 4s to 6s; best, 6e 6d to 8s; ducks. 4s to 6s 6d, pullets, 6e to 10s; geese, 6s 6cl to 9s; hens and chickens, 9s to lie; ducks and ducklings, 10s, lie, 13s 6d; small cockerels, from 11s to 18s per dozen.
