(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Nov. 26. Bulls and Hunterville bowlers met at Bulls on Wednesday in the second match of the triangular series, but rain delayed the start, and 10 heads only were played. A high- wind made good bowling impossible. Bulls won on the aggregate by 3 points, scores being as lollow (with bulls players mentioned first): —bilery, Ransom, Stevens (ship) 12, v. Donovan, Greenwood, Gorrie (skip) 11. Capstick, Simpson, Archer, Ingram (skip) 9 v. Petherwick, Abel, Hurley, Thomson (skip) 7. The most successful dance hold by the Parewanui School Committee drew a crowded house to the Bulls Town Hall on Tuesday evening. The M.C.’s were Messrs L. Tattle and W. Hart, and Mrs G. Crosland, and they carried out their duties admirably. First-class music and supper were features of the dance, and a Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss N. Kingham Marton) and Mr I. Simeon (Wellington). Mr C. Campbell is acting as manager of the Bulls branch of tho Bank of New Zealand during Mr A. T. Shaw’s absence on annual leave. Mr A. J. Potrie, an erstwhile manager here, and now of Hunterville, was a visitor to Bulls this week.
