WEDDING.
TULLOCH—KILGARRIFF. A pretty wedding was solemnised on November 14 at St. Patrick’s Chui'cli, Palmerston North, when Margaret Mary (May), only daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas Kilgarriff, of “Waliira,” Fitzherbert West, was married to Mr James Tullocli, of Masterton. Very Rev. Monsignor MacManus officiated and Miss Spelman presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a gown of ivory satin and lace, made on simple lines, the beautifully moulded skirt falling to a train at the back. Her long embroidered veil, which was lent by her cousin, -was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of cream rosebuds and maidenhair fern with tulle trails. The attendants were Miss Joyce Schwass, cousin of the bride, as bridesmaid, and Dorothy Greer, flower girl. They wore gowns of pale pink georgette and carried a pink bouquet and a flower basket respectively. Mr J. Millar Kilgarriff (brother of the bride) acted as best man The reception was held at the residence, “Waliira,” where the bride’s mother received her quests wearing a black frock and coat with hat to match a-d a shoulder spray of crimson roses. She was assisted by her sister, Mrs Schwass, of Manutahi, who wore a black corded mariette frock and coat with hat to tone, and a shoulder spray of cream roses. The happy couple left later for the south, the bride wearing a blackberry (rock and coat with nigger brown hat and accessories. Their future home will be in Masterton.
