OHAKEA
< (From Our Own Correspondent.) OHAKEA, Nov. 23. Mis 3 E. Rowe, who is severing her connection with the local Sunday school, where she .has given excellent service since its inception, was met by the scholars and parents, last Sunday afternoon, and farewelled. Mr T. Tremain. on behalf of the parents and scholars, expressed regret at the departure of Miss Rowe and _ thanked her for the interest she hud. evinced in the spiritual welfare of the children of the district. He called on Miss Tui Masters to present Miss Rowe with a leather handbag as a mark of appreciation. Rev. A. N. Scotter, of Palmerston North, who was also present, thanked Miss Rowe for her faithful service. Mr H. Rowe, of behalf of Miss Rowo, briefly thanked tliote present for their gift and expressed the hopo that the work of the school would continue to prosper.
