ATLANTIC AIR SERVICE.

FREE STATE BASE. LONDON, Oct. 14. The Free State Government, after consultation with the British Government, has refused the German Luft Hansa airline permission to use Galway Bay as an intermediate stmem for their experimental North Atlantic air service. An agreement lias already been concluded betwaen the Irish Government and Imperial Airways for a regular trans-Atlantic air service. “Obviously wo cannot allow a rival concern to use our natural facilities and advantages,” said a Free Stato official.
