FIFTY-MILES TITLE. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Oct. 4. The New Zealand 50-miles road cycling championship, held at the Taieri yesterday afternoon, -was won by W. ,T. Lamberton (Christchurch), who gained fastest time from th® scratch mark, completing the course in 2.11.23. The second fastest time went to A. Clemence, 2.12.17. The first man home was A. Mackie (Kaitangata), who led all the way, finishing -"’-oc ahead of ,C. Gread (Christ* ehur."*" .
