As advertised elsewhere in this issue, Mr J. B. King and Mr Dido Miller will speak in tlie Municipal Hall, Opera House, Palmerston North, on Thursday evening at 8 o’clock. These men have just returned from the Soviet Union, where they have been working. They understand the methods of mining in the U.S.S.R., what the Soviet Constitution means, how the problems of nationalities are solved and the position of Russia in the event of another war. Mr King is a good speaker and all are welcome to hear a good and first-hand lecture oil U.S.S.R.
