SYDNEY. Oct. 1. At the wool sales the closing auctions tor the week saw keen competition from Yorkshire and the Continent. The market continued firm at full late rates. Greasy Merino made to 21fd. A total of 12,101 bid -s was offered, 10.086 being sold at auction and 2251 privately.
