SYDNEY WOOL SALES.
A FIRM MARKET. SYDNEY, Sept. 29. At the wool sales 12,322 hales were offered. 11.429 being sold at auction, and 1247 privately. Wider competition to-day resulted in withdrawals being less frequent, while the market was firmer for all descriptions. Yorkshire and the Continent operated actively. Greasy Merinos made to 21^d.
