NEW COLOURS FOR MEN. Mr C Marshall," of a Sydney firm, W ho returned to Australia recently from the United States, said that men’s fashions in America " ele ing new forms.
Suits were of the “swingback”’ type (having pleats in the back below the armpits), and generally they were tighter, particularly in the waist, and were made of softer materials than formerly. The tones of all articles of at- , tire were matched, incruding hats and y shoes, and the prevailing colours were t grey, cream, and green. Handkerchiefs - I were five-pointed. Double-breasted l suits were popular, and evening clothes
were seldom worn.
