An application for an award was made in the Arbitration Court by the Auckland Fruit Preserving and Vegetable Canning Union. The wages of adult workers, except those working as departmental foremen, having been settled, the only matters in dispute are the hours of work, the wages of youths and females, the rate for casual workers, and holidays.
