A rather deep depression is crossing the central portion of the Dominion and a secondary is advancing from the Tasman Sea on to the South Island. Pressure has risen rapidly over eastern Australia. Forecast: Moderate to strong northwesterly winds, reaching gale force at times. ‘Weather: Cloudy to overcast- and rain probable, with some heavy falls and on the ranges snow. Temperatures colder to-morrow. Seas rough.
