FORTY-HOUR WEEK.
RAILAVAY MEN PLEASED. Per Press Association. AVANGANUI, Sept. 15. At a largely attended meeting of the AVanganui branch of the A.S.R.S., including representatives from Bonny Glen, Turakina, AA 7 angaehu, Fordell and,Wanganui, a resolution was unanimously passed congratulating the Government on introducing the 40-hour week into the railway service, and expressing complete confidence in the Government.
