TROOPS FOR PALESTINE.

FIRST DETACHMENTS LEAVE. (British Official Wireless.) Received September 14, 10.33 a.m. RUGBY, Sept. 12. The first detachment of troops for Palestine left Bordon Camp early tins morning for Southampton to join the Dorsetshire, which sails to-day With 1700 men, including two units of the Third Infantry Brigade comprising 53 officers and 1132 men of the Royal Nortliuniberlanu fusiliers and the Royal Irish Fusiliers. They were joined at Southampton by the Sixth Field and Park and the Twelfth and Twen-ty-Sixth Field Companies of Royal Engineers. On Monday tile other vessels of the emergency transport fleet, the Laurentic and the Nevara, will leave Southampton with the headquarters staff of the First Division, some of the smaller units, and half of the Second Infantry Brigade. The Laurcntic is a fast vessel, and is expected back at Southampton in time to sail again about October 20, probably with the Third Battalion of the Coldstream Guards anti the Second Battalion of The Buffs to complete the force.
