RESCUE OF OWNER. Received July 18, 2.0 p.m. THURSDAY ISLAND, Juiv 18. A message from the yacht Idle Hour, bound lor Singapore and calling at Koepatig, says that the owner, Dwight Long, was upset in a tiny dinghy and was swept a quarter of a mile in a four-knot current. He was rescued by lugger boys. The Aucklander, Ivan Palmer, is well alter a week’s attack of malaria, being m hospital.
