MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE.
ACQUITTAL ORDERED. PERTH, July 15. Cyril Thomas, Brennan has been acquitted of manslaughter arising out of the death of Edgar Whitfield. The High Court had ordered a new trial in Brennan’s case. Tuo other men originally convicted with Brennan received long terms of imprisonment lor manslaughter. Brennan has noM’ been charged with complicity in the robbery of £SOOO worth of diamonds from Caris Bros., jewellers, on February 5, 1935, M’hen the caretaker, Whitfield, w'as killed.
