WEST END DANCE.
The fortnightly old-time dance conducted by the West End School Committee took the torm of a “joy night.” when it was held on Tuesday. There was the usual good attendance, and a very jolly- time was spent. Novelties, streamers and snowballs contributed merriment during the evening. Tho third round of the waltzing competition was judged by the M.C., Mr W. Collins, who selected the following couples;—Mr Barnao and Miss Lampard, Mr O’Nejl and Miss Warner, Mr R. Scales and Miss Stevens. Competition winners wa Miss Rosvall and Mr Reid (lucky spot) and Mr O’Neil and Miss Hopkins (Gay Gordons). Extras were .played by Mr Paul and Mr Fisher.
