According to an Australian report the IJawera horse Onewhotu has featured in cue of the most sensational betting plunges in recent times. Fryer, trainer of Oncwhetu, says he is at a loss to account far the hacking of the horse which, ho states, did not originatp with him or the owner, Mr J. ICiley, who does not bet in a big way. “Whoever launched tho commission is foolish,” commented Fryer, “for there is no certainty that Onewhetu will be taken to Australia. I would not care to take him unless I had another horse to necompmy him and at present that docs not se.etn likely.”
