THOUSANDS ATTEND FUNERAL
CLASHES CONTINUE,
Received Julv 15, 11.30 a.m. MADRID, July 14. Women predominated in the crowds thronging the streets for the funeral of Scnor .Sotelo, the Monarchist leader who was iound murdered. A small band of Fascists demonstrated, but were suppressed. _ The majority of the militant Rightists throughout the country have been gaoled, t Here being 135 in Madrid alone. . , , , , Rightists and Leftists clashed at Senior Sotelo’s birthplace, Orense, and four were killed. The Cortes will adjourn to-morrow for a week. Senor Gil Robles (Minister of War) hurriedly returned, and is expected to pay a tribute to bis friend. It is confirmed that a group ol men visited his house on the same night that Scnor Sotelo was murdered.
