VICTORIAN CASIO. MELBOURNE, Julv 14. Following tho Geelong bomiiing incident, Edward Carr, of Chilwell, gave his consent to tho withdrawal of a writ against Constable Milne, from whom Carr claimed £IOOO damages for alleged false imprisonment, malicious arrest and prosecution last January on a charge of being an idle and disorderly person. Carr’s solicitor announced before Judge Wasley that he desired tho case to bo withdrawn without costs to Milne. The Crown acquiesced and the writ was withdrawn. When a bomb was thrown through tho window of Constable Milne's homo at Geelong at 3\o'clGck in tho morning. Mrs Milne was blown to pieces, and her husband was seriously hurt. The front of Hie house was wrecked. Two childien who wore asleep in a back room, luckily escaped.
