BASKETBALL DANCE TO-NIGHT
The annual dance of the Alanawatu Basketball Association will be held in the Cosmopolitan Hall to-night. Visitors will bo in attendance from Levin, Linton, Bunnytliorpe, Ashhurst. and Woodvillc, while a bus is running from I'oxton, leaving at 7.30. Ah’ AV. H. Brown will undertake the responsibilities of AJ.C. and lias arranged a programme of old-time and modern dancing which should suit every taste. An exhibition lap dance will be given. The gins havo boen organising systematically and energetically and a brilliant gathering is predicted, the hall has been tastefully decorated and full arrangements have been made by an experienced supper comnnttoo for an appetising supper. As in tho past, popular charges arc being made: Ladies, 2s; gentlemen, 2s.
