THE DARDANELLES
AGREEMENT ARRIVED AT. PASSAGE OF WARSHIPS. TURKEY’S DEMAND. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received July 15, 9.20 a.m. , MONTREUX, July 14. The plenary meeting of the Dardanelles Conference this afternoon adjourned until to-morrow to enable the drafting committee to complete the articles of the convention which have been in dispute. It is understood that agreement on all points has been practically reached, and that in the . event of a war m which Turkey is neutral the Dardanelles will be closed to all belligerent warships except those carrying oat obligations under the League Covenant. The convention may be signed at the plenary meeting on July 15 or IG.
