THE RHINELAND.
GERAIANY’S INTENTIONS. LONDON. July 14. The Daily Herald’s diplomatic correspondent says that, according to reports reaching London, Herr Hitler has decided to turn the “token” occupation of the Rhineland into a real occupation by bringing German garrisons to the same strength as garrisons on the French side of the frontier and simultaneously expediting fortification of tho Rhineland. Germany, however, denies increasing the Rhineland garrisons and declares that she is remaining faithful to her undertaking to do nothing until August 1.
