The Government have prepared vigorous measures ,to.: entnree the accept-ance.-of their policy M. laure (Minister without portfolio), referring to the “baby bond” appeal said: If the loan does not bring what we hope we shall mobilise the peoples fortUßusiness men throughout' France were summoned by telegraph by the Minister to. attend a meeting _to discuss the rising cost of living. He mil require them to explain price increases which threaten- to defeat the benefits of the new labour legislation. Prosecutions arc being launched against profiteers.
