HERALDIC RADGES. TO STIMULATE TRADITION. APPROVAL BY, KING. (United Press Association—By Electric • Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received Julv 14, 9,50 a.m. ■i -LONDON, July 13. It is. understood that/the . King, who is now approving of heraldic badges for Royal Air Force' squadrons, will shortly ./examine the badges submitted from the squadrons in the Australian and other Dominion air forces. The designs, which will be. registered at the College of Amis, and placed in the keeping of the Chester Herald, are intended to stimulate a tradition corresponding to the army regiments both heie and in the Dominions.
Squadrons created during the war will receive preference in the approval of the badges, which will be reproduced on the machines.
