FAILURE T't REPORT AN ACCIDENT. Per P--=-- tcco-’n.tieo. WANG VXUT. July 13. Arising out of_ ail accident to a motor-cyclist at Wangaehu on June 20, Donald Robert Falconer, agerl 25. for failing to report a motor accident to the police, was fined £ls to-day. The Magistrate (Air J. H. Salmon) stated that this was one of the more serious offences under the ATotor Vehicles Act. and riglit’v so. for it was obvious that if the polios were notified after an accident the injured pc*.urn might be attended to and it might ofteu result in the saving of life. It was a serious matter for anyone to fail to report an accident immediately.
