STOCK MARKET REPORT.
The Dominion Auctioneering Companv, Palmerston North, reports an extra large yarding of pigs at their weekly pig fair held on Saturday, there being in all a clearance of over 300 pigs. Prices in the main were satisfactory and showed a decided increase on those obtained at the pievious week’s sale. Realisations were as follow: —Small weaners, 7s to_l2s; best wea.ners, up to 16s; slips. 15s to 18s; stores, to 25s 6d; porkers, -28 sto 33s 6d; sow in farrow, £4; baconers, 47s 6d to 52s 6d. There was also a heavy demand for poultry, all lines beincr cleared at prices satisfactory to sellers. Realisations were as follow: White hens, 5s 4d to 6s; black hens, 6s to 7s Gd; cockerels, 5s to 7s; ducks, 5s to 6s 8d (all prices being per pair); treese, 3s Gd to os Gd each, tiiiivCA gobblers, 7s to 10s Od each; turkey hens, 6s to 8s each.
