MRS MARY A. JOYCE.
The death occurred at Levin, on Wednesday, of Airs Alary A. Joyce, an elderly resident ot the district. Bora at Bell Block, New Plymouth,, the late Airs Joyce was the eldest child of the late Air and Airs J. It. Bowen and was married in Palmerston North to Air Allied John Joyce, who predeceased her some months ago. Air Joyce formerly managed the business of the late Air AI. A. Bowen in Palmerston North, which wils subsequently sold to the firm of Alessrs Coilinson and Cunninghail le, Ltd. The late Airs Joyce spent some years in Australia, and on her return to New Zealand settled at Alexandra, Central Otago. Going to Levin thirty years ago, she had since resided almost continuously in that centre. The deceased lady is survived by one son, Air W. Joyce, of Omata, New Plymouth, and one daughter, Aliss Thelma Joyce, of Levin, while there are two grandchildren. In addition there are left to mourn her passing a brother, Mr L. Bowen, of Tauranga, and two sisters, Aliss H. E. Bowen, of Levin, and Airs Worth, of New Plymouth.
