SOUTH AMERICAN INVESTMENTS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 1. Replying to a question in the House of Commons, the President of the Board of Trade (Mr Walter Runciman) said that, pending final results of an investigation of the geographical distribution of British capital investments overseas, the estimated nominal value of British investments in 1935 in Argentina was £435,000,000, in Brazil £190,000,000, and in other South American countries £160,000,000 , , Dividends arid interests remitted on the investments in 1935'amounted approximately to £8,500,000, £3,500,000, and £3,250,000 respectively.
