Mr A. Dixon is again in very indiferent health. Mr J. Whiting, after .six years’ residence in Hastings, has returned to lake up his residence in Otaki. Mr C. J. Cuming, of Otaki Gorge, having secured • the property of Mr Brown of Otaki Railway, has taken up his residence there. A special meeting of the Otaki Trotting Club was held on Monday night. Mr L. Kilmistcr, presiding. Various matters were' considered, and necessary papers signed, which will be forwarded to . headquarters with fees, etc., immediately. It was pointed out that the Otaki Maori Racing Club’s course _ would be available for a trotting meeting.
