FROZEN MEAT TRADE.
LONDON MARKETS EASIER. Tlio Bank of Australasia is in receipt of tlie following cable, dated July 1, from its London office:—Fresh meat and chilled beef were affected seriously owing to recent hot weather and thunderstorms; consequently frozen lambs were in fair demand and market fairlv steady; no change at present anticipated. Frozen mutton : More inquiries for wethers, prices firm. Ewes only selling slowly, market slightly weaker. Frozen beef affected by low prices of chilled beef. Market easier owing to large nrriyals.
