PRIVATE HOTELS.
RISE IN TARIFFS. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 2. A meeting of proprietors of private hotels in Auckland decided to raise their tariffs by at least 10 per cent, as from Saturday. Fifty-four attended the meeting and Air J. R. Elsbury presided. It was decided to form an Auckland Private Hotel Proprietors’ Association to be affiliated with the Auckland Employers’ Association.
