ROYAL SOCIETY'S SUPPORT. Per Press Associsition. WELLINGTON, .July 2. The Royal Agricultural Society conference, by an overwhelming majority, adopted a remit directing the Government to be asked to allow the direct importation of stock from Britain. There were similar remits from the Alasterton A. and P. Society, the Southdown Slice]) Society, and the New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association. A remit opposing the proposal came from the Matamata A. and P. Association.
