Eight natives condemned to death for their part i lithe crimes of the “Aniotos, or “leopard men,” iu the Wamba region of the Belgian Congo, were hanged recently at Stanloyvi.ie. The Aniotos, or “leopard men,” are a sect who disguise tnemselves in leopard skins to commit crimes. Some 10 murders were attributed to the acused men.
