STUD SHEEP PRICES.
THE SYDNEY SALES. SYDNEY, June 26. The stud sheep sales just closed are considered to have been most satisfactory. A good average was maintained for Merinos, and the attendance was the best for many years. Experts declare that the standard of the sheep was better than last year.
The Japanese situation affected the market, creating uncertainty about the future, but there was no pessirilism. Offerings, of Merinos totalled 1921, which realised £54,541, averaging £2B, which is the best since 1929, when the average was £29.
