Tho committee of the Technical old students now have arrangements well in hand for the monthly old-time dance to be held on July 8. The “Alay Queen” is to be rendered in tho Opera House on Tuesday, July 7, for tho Free Ambulance funds. Aliss Myra Sawyer, of Wellington, appears as May Queen and Aliss Doris .Moore as “Queen. Air H. E. Bennett is the tenor and Air IT. Woodhousc the bass. A splendid orchestra of 16 will be led by Aliss Dorothy Soutliy Baker. Air I’. W. Tombs, a former well known pipe organist, band and orchestral conductor, has offered to come from Napier where be is cathedral organist to’ ulay the beautiful viola part of the work.
