SYDNEY WOOL SALES.
A GOOD DEMAND. SYDNEY, June 18.. At the wool sales 6608 bales were offered of which 4038 were sold; 4540. were disposed of privately. There was a (rood demand from the Continent and Yorkshire for all well-grown wools, but all'other sorts were irregular The average price realised for the first three days of the week is £l2 19s a bale, and 9.7 d a lb. The new series of wool sales w ill begin in August.
