POLICE ASSOCIATION.
APPROVAL AT HAMILTON. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, June 18. It is believed from inquiries made throughout the North Island that the formation of an association for members of the Police Force is becoming an accomplished fact, it is understood that at a meeting at Hamilton last night members of the force in the Hamilton district unanimously approved of the formation of an association, and that it was suggested that an annual conference should be held in Wellington with 19 delegates representing all districts present, the executive to conduct the business between conferences. It is considered unlikely that application will be made for registration as a union.
