They emphasise that his American form showed, that he is obviously superior to Allison. Australians are also mystified to find Quist and Allison ranked above Budge. Critics, analysing the draw, foresee a Perry-Cramm final, and express the opinion that the semi-finalists will be Perry, Budge, Austin and Ciamin. PLAY AT QUEEN’S CLUB. Received June IS, 1.10 p.m. LONDON, June 17. At the Queen’s Club tennis tourna, meat, in the men’s doubles, third round, Quist and McGrath beat Billington and Meredith, 6—4 6—4. J. Olliff is the only Englishman in the final eight in the singles. Maier was surprisingly beaten by the American, Stratford, in the turd round. Budge beat Heclit after a bard light, 6 —3, 5-7, 7-5.
