PAGEANT OF DOLLS.
AT NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW. The League of Nations would no doubt be delighted to see such a friendly population of representatives of many. countries as the pageant of dolls now attracting attention at the National Dairy Show. This interesting exhibit is included in the display staged bv the North Wellington Federation of Women’s Institutes, and comes from Wanganui. The institutes consider it a privilege to have obtained such a display, and are grateful to those who made it possible. The dolls are attached to a globe map of the world by streamers, and are frpcked to represent the many different lands in which women’s institutes or a .country women’s organisation flourishes. Perhaps the main thought suggested by the display is that countries of the world can be linked in harmony, despite dress or colour, through organisations with a common ideal.
