Mr TV. I. Deavoll, at present private secretary to the Minister of Education, has been appointed secretaiy of the Wellington Education Board in succes"'Ui tn Mr E. Hilton, who is retiring. Mr Deavoll has been in the Public bervice lor 30 years, and has served six successive Ministers of Edim-Gon as private secretary, states a Prest Association message.
