WINTER SHOW
FINE CONDITIONS PREVAIL. Though it had looked uncertain this morning, the weather improved Inter and remained fine when the National Dairy Show was continued yesterady. With the statutory - half-holiday being observed there was a large public attendance. The attractions on the oval were the representative hockey match between Mannwatu and Wellington, and the Ttr.ghy football match between High School and Te Auto. VEGETABLES AND POTATOES. In view of the fact that seasonal conditions had been very much against the production of vegetables of a hjgh show standard, the entries in that class had been creditable, said Mr F. Mason ‘(beliding), the judge. He commented specially on the potato section, which, he said, had been very good. The parsnips had also been a fine lot and the pumpkins had been well grown and showing plenty of quality.
